What is the Parenting PATH?
The Parenting PATH (Positive Actions, Thriving Homes) is a local, non-profit agency with a 37-year track record of making the world a safer place for our children. Parenting PATH was founded in 1981 as Exchange/SCAN, with the support of local Exchange Clubs and citizens of Forsyth County. Parenting PATH is a National Exchange Club Foundation Child Abuse Prevention Center and is supported by local Exchange Clubs and the National Exchange Club Foundation. Child abuse is a serious issue that continues to impact families in northwest North Carolina. Parenting PATH is the primary child abuse prevention agency in northwest North Carolina and with the help of wonderful financial donors, we provide more than 20 different services or programs to prevent and treat child abuse.

Volunteer and Make a Difference
Our volunteers make an impact. We are thankful to our volunteers for their time and talents in service to our community. Volunteers are used extensively for their ability to give individualized care and to involve the community in the prevention of child abuse. Group and individual volunteers are needed.
